The environment in which we live is the greatest asset that needs to be protected. Our environmental management is based on the safe compliance with legal requirements and the expansion to include our own environmental standards. The specified environmental objectives and measures for our company are communicated by the designated environmental officer. He also ensures that the implementation of the measures as well as potential challenges are always kept in mind and are promptly included in the measure determination. The corresponding evaluation is just as much a part of his tasks as the re-briefing when adapting to new topics or circumstances.

The employees are instructed annually to raise awareness of environmental protection for each individual. Furthermore, information is communicated via the intranet, notices and the employee newspaper.

A variety of measures have been implemented in the company for years. These are both big and small things. For example, there are solar panels on the entire roof area of approximately 24,000 square meters, its own combined heat and power plant and electric vehicles. Again and again it is checked whether there are more energy-efficient solutions and, for example, wherever there is a need for replacement, only LEDs are used. Wherever possible, purchasing also takes place from an environmental point of view. So for example checking whether our suppliers act environmentally conscious and if Eco-labels are available.

Professional waste management with the support of the local waste disposal company, the use of reusable boxes for the internal transport of devices and complete lifecycle management are also part of the environmental package.

With regard to our environmental policy, it is very important to us to have an open and constructive dialogue with our customers, business partners and interested parties.
